Angelina Jolie’s father and 80-year-old Academy Award-winning actor went publicly to denounce the criticism of President Trump and how Democrats are viewing him as “racist.” Jon Voight posted a video on Twitter Sunday after the shootings in Dayton, Ohio, and El Paso, Texas to say Trump is not racist. Democrats fueled the fire by using the incidents to say how the president started it because it was “racially inspired” by him. It is nothing more than political to the Democrats, and one day all of America will see them for who they truly are.
In the video, the truth could not have been spoken better. Voight stated, “We must understand that this is a nation of liberty, and this president is honoring all. He is not a racist, but a man who loves his country and has every intention to make this land great again. Let us vote for this country’s safety. And may all the angered left find truth, what truth stands for.”
Apparently, when everyone thinks of racism, they think of white and black. This is not so, and when it comes up about the black minority, they feel they are the only ones scarred by racism. This is not the case. Voight also brought up the Jewish people who went through the holocaust. America is made up of all backgrounds and cultures and people of a different race. Voight spoke of how the problem of “racism has been solved long ago by our forefathers and that the angered left-wingers preach love but only pollute.” Racism was ended with the end of slavery, but he spoke of how racism comes about through opening the old wounds.
He added, “It seems that the angered left, and angered minorities want to hold President Trump accountable for past lives. You see, we have been gifted with truth, and as I see it, anger is among the old chains that were binding to the people of slavery, old wounds that still seem fresh.”
If black people keep living in the past which no one today owned slaves over 150 years ago because no one was alive back then, then they will keep these wounds open and will always come off as the real racist because they do not have forgiveness in their hearts to move forward. If the Jews can forgive for the holocaust and pick up the pieces, then so can the blacks forgive for slavery. None of them were born at that time!
If the Mexicans would realize they need to come into this country legally and stop crossing the borders illegally, then they would see they are the ones wrong, not Americans. It is not about race, it is about keeping our borders safe because “without borders, we do not have countries.”
The point is, they need to stop blaming the president, whites, and everyone under the sun for all of the problems they put upon themselves and take responsibility for their actions. For the last two weeks, there has been nothing but calling the president “racist.” They blame him for the shootings. They blame him for the “rat and crime-infested” Baltimore area. He is blamed for anything that has to do with hate. Why not look at themselves and open their eyes and see they are the ones stirring the pot, not the president! They are allowing the “racism” to spread which is fueled by only one group, the Democrats. President Trump is trying to fix all of this mess, and these idiots keep making it worse.
When the truth is spoken, people get defensive, and it was no different with Jon Voight’s message on Twitter. One user sarcastically responded, “Wow, Jon spot on. I’ll tell my African American neighbor to get over it after another Chevy Tahoe driver calls him a racial slur.” This is a perfect example of what Voight was talking about. They open up the wounds themselves to cause division.
While there are good people still left in this world filled with hate, two of the many praised Voight for his statement of truth. “God bless you for speaking the truth and not what the Hollywood propaganda is telling people.” Another kept it simple and stated, “Thank you for standing up for truth.”
Jon Voight is a heavy Trump supporter and has pushed for him since 2016. Multiple videos have been released on Twitter, which praises and applauds the president. In May, Voight tweeted, President Trump is “the greatest president since Abraham Lincoln.”
